Blazer Development chose to use a combination of high quality heating and cooling systems for their 2001 Street of Dreams home. Jacobs Heating & Air Conditioning provided the whole house system consisting of three major components; a radiant floor system, a ducted air conditioning system and a whole house ventilation system.

The Wirsbo Radiant Floor Heating system consists of a high efficiency gas fired boiler, in-floor HEPEX tubing and zone controls. Wirsbo Radiant Floor Heating systems can make your home comfortable without noise, drafts or high heating bills. Radiant floor heating warms people and objects and surrounds your family with comfortable even heat. Even in the coldest morning, you can step out of bed or out of the shower and into radiant warmth. Each zone is controlled by its own thermostat. With the Wirsbo heating system you have comfort that you can control.

The Trane HVAC system consists of two air conditioners with auxiliary back-up heating. System #1 serves the master suite, library, great room and dining room and uses a Trane four-ton air conditioner with electric supplemental heat. System #2 serves the kitchen, family room, guest suite, laundry and upper floor and uses a Trane four-ton air conditioner with a high efficiency two-stage gas furnace for supplemental heating. Both systems are controlled with Honeywell programmable thermostats and include Honeywell ultra-violet air treatments and electronic air cleaners.

For health and comfort, two Honeywell energy recovery ventilators provide the home with continuous fresh air. They help eliminate excess moisture and to reduce indoor bacteria and viruses in the home. The secret to Honeywell's energy recovery ventilators is the heat transfer core that transfers heating or cooling energy from outgoing to incoming airstreams.
